Self-Pay Therapy: Your Investment in a Clearer Path Forward

Therapy is one of the most important investments you can make in yourself. At my teletherapy practice, I offer the option to pay privately at a transparent rate of $160 per session—giving you control, flexibility, and a truly personalized experience.

I accept all major credit and debit cards, including Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. You may also use Health Savings Accounts (HSAs) and Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Benny Cards to pay for your sessions, as therapy is an eligible medical expense under most plans.

While I am in-network with Anthem (Blue Cross Blue Shield), many clients choose to self-pay to take advantage of greater privacy, simplicity, and freedom in their care.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and AASECT Certified therapist with over 20 years of experience, I specialize in helping adults and couples navigate relationship struggles, sexual concerns, stress, and anger management. My work is deeply rooted in practical, evidence-based approaches that foster meaningful and lasting change. Clients often tell me they appreciate how I listen attentively and offer down-to-earth, actionable guidance—therapy that moves at your pace and gets to the heart of what matters. With all sessions conducted via secure video, you get expert care in the comfort and privacy of your own space—no commute, no waiting rooms, and more flexibility in scheduling. As a self-pay provider, I am not limited by insurance restrictions, which allows us to focus entirely on your goals and tailor therapy to your needs—not someone else’s checklist. I also provide superbills for potential out-of-network reimbursement. Let’s work together to create lasting improvements in your relationships and your well-being.

Notice to clients and prospective clients:
Under the law, health care providers need to give clients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service, or at any time during treatment.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, or how to dispute a bill, see your Estimate, or visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.

CANCELLATION POLICY
Your appointment time has been specially set aside for you. If you need to reschedule, please give at least two business days notice to avoid a $75 cancellation fee. I ask for advanced notice because the time set aside by you cannot be used by someone on the waiting list when little or no notice is given.

Insurance

(Anthem Blue Cross/Blue Shield, and all Health Savings Accounts, Flex Spending Accounts, or Benny cards are accepted)

Using insurance is not always the best option, even if you have it. Self pay will keep your information private, as well as avoiding common insurance hassles.
